TERMS & CONDITIONS

Adult Membership

This membership is for people who are currently 18 or more years of age.

Adults Full Time Student Membership

This membership is for people who are currently 18 or more years of age and are in full-time education without having a job and receiving salary. Proof of full-time education will be required.

Teen Membership

This membership is for people who are between 12 -17 years of age. Such members can join only with written parental consent. Parents must attend the first class to meet the instructor and complete any contracts, payments, or direct debits.

Family Membership

To be eligible for this membership you must be in a direct family relation with the other member you are joining with (husband & wife, son & daughter, brother & sister etc). Couples in a long-term relationship may also be eligible for a family membership, provided they live at the same address and can submit a proof of that. Family membership payments must come from a single bank account.

Trial Class Bookings

Trial classes are non-refundable. If you cannot attend your trial class we will allow one change of booking for free, provided that you inform us prior to your trial class. After one booking amendment you will be required to book online again if you wish to attend a future trial class date.

Cancelling your Membership

You can request to cancel your membership in writing at any time with 30 days’ notice, sending an email to info.thesda@gmail.com. The upcoming payment nearest to the date you contact us will be taken as the final one and your membership will expire 30 days after this payment. Please do not try to cancel your direct debit from your side as it will be classified as a breach of your agreement with us and will trigger fees and penalties for you set by our financial handler.

Class Cancellations and Holidays

We reserve the right to occasionally cancel our classes due to bad weather, instructor illness or when the locations we hire must temporarily close for maintenance/events or similar activities.

We do not run classes on Public/Bank Holidays.

We do not run classes during an annual leave, which is a total of four weeks in a one-year period.

Training Uniform and Protective Equipment

We require our students to wear a KMG official training uniform - a T-shirt along with black pants (leggings). In addition, protective gear is highly recommended as Krav Maga is a full-contact activity.

Insurance

We require our students to have a KMG Training Licence and Insurance which will cover them while they attend our classes, and any KMG Workshops, Seminars and Gradings they may attend in the future.

Photographs and Videos

We take photographs and videos during our classes for the purpose of using them on our website and other social media platforms. By becoming a member (or your child becoming a member) of The Self Defence Academy you are agreeing with the above. Please let us know in writing if you wish to withhold permission.
